David Baldwin is a mundane man who is the son of Mary Baldwin and her first husbannd, and adopted by Jim Baldwin. He is the brother of Karen Baldwin and step-brother of Sean Baldwin. He has blond hair, and had brown eyes. His eyes turned from brown to green when he saw Cholorine's green panties. He had a pet cat named Midrange. He and his family helped save Xanth from overexposure of magic dust by containing Happy Bottom after being stranded there. They traveled with Nimby and Chlorine.[1]
David helped locate and bring Jaylin to Xanth to help locate the Swell Foop. They are dating.[2] E(A/R)TH established a link with him to keep watch on Fornax who was linked to Jaylin.[3]
