Esmeralda or Esme, she was called, was a human 'cow' on Earth#772. According to her owner she was his best milker. When interworld inspector Hitch infiltrated the farm as a farmhand, he encountered her in the night stall, where she was strenuously in pain from giving birth. In the end without assistance Esmeralda gave birth to a baby girl. When her owner came and comforted her, telling she would be back in the herd in a few days. As he comforted the cow he ordered Hitch to remove the baby before she saw and grew attached to it.
