Humfrey is the Magician of Information, so he knows everything. He is also extremely old. He's had four children so far and numerous grand children. Humfrey is cranky and looks like a gnome.
Humphrey is a mean, tiny person who has married 5 times. His history is told in the book "Question Quest", which tells of how he became the Magician of Information.

- Dara Demoness
- Abandoned Humphrey after the birth of their son. Was a demon with a soul, which gave her a concience. Later wished to join Humphrey in the real world as a designated wife. Wife #1
- Rose of Roogna
- Humphrey's second true love. Captured and sent to Hell in a handbasket. After that event, Humphrey took 80 years worth of Forget Elixir to forget her, which led to events later. Humphrey and Rose had a daughter, named Rosetta. Wife #3(?)
- The Gorgon
- Humphrey's Final Wife. Met during the Events of The Source of Magic, where he nulled her magic. The Gorgon later asked Humphrey a Question: "Will you marry me?" After 1 year of service, he said yes. The Gorgon and Humphrey had a son, named Hugo. Wife #5
