She was his superior as a interworld investigator and was a target of his many advances which she sadly rejected. She would lecture Hitch various times of interworld issues to avoid sexual relations with him. Hitch encountered her alternate Iota on Earth#772. Whereas she was a upstanding woman, on Earth Prime, her Earth#772 counterpart was a young sixteen old cow.
After Hitch rescued a recently born baby girl from becoming a cow, he decided to bring her back to Earth Prime as he knew Iolanthe would raise the girl as her own.
